Message from the Principal

At Proserpine State High, we believe in promoting the whole person. Our curriculum is well-balanced and encourages the development of the academic, social, cultural, physical and emotional qualities of our young people. We treat our students as people who are "growing up with us" and endeavour to instil in them, a love of learning. They are encouraged to become responsible, mature, thinking, engaged and valued members of our Australian Society.

If we create the conditions that encourage and enable success, benefits will surely flow to our students. Our mission statement is "To help, encourage and challenge the individual to strive to fulfil his or her potential in all facets of life".

We believe that a collaborative, consultative approach where all members of the school community are valued and actively participating, is the best strategy for fulfilling our mission statement.
